Uranus and Orionids October 21, 2017

Join us Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 7:30 pm at Three Peaks Recreational Area to see the Orionid Meteor Showers and look through a large telescope. Uranus is in a prime location, close to the earth in its orbit.

This event is free and open to the public. Everyone is invited and it is free of charge. We do appreciate donations so we can buy better equipment for the community to enjoy.

Please come right at 7:30 p.m. Remember to wrap up for warmth and bring a blanket or chair for additional warmth and comfort. We’ll provide the telescopes.

Directions to Three Peaks from Cedar City can be found here.

Disclaimer: In the case of inclement weather, we will be there at 7:30 p.m., but if we are rained out and nobody shows up, we typically only wait for an hour from the start time before we leave.
